colorFabb ASA 3D Printer Filaments
Features and Benefits of colorFabb ASA Filament
ASA
Well suited for outdoor applications, colorFabb ASA filament has high-temperature resistance (up to 96°C) and inherent UV stability. Parts printed with ASA can withstand prolonged exposure to UV light and retain toughness and durability for a much longer time than ABS.
- Highly temperature resistant
- Inherent UV stability
- Susceptible to warping, but less severe than ABS
- Diameter tolerance: ± 0.1 mm
- Density: 1.07g/cm3
- Vicat softening temperature: 96°C
LW-ASA
The LW-ASA is modified with colorFabb’s lightweight additive which makes it the most lightweight ASA filament in the world. This 3D printing material is capable of increasing its volume nearly 2.5 times. When foamed, the surface finish will also turn matte, giving it a professional look.

Print Guidelines
ASA
Extruder Temperature
- 240°C to 260°C
Platform Temperature
- 90°C to 100°C
Print Speed
- 30-50 mm/sec

LW-ASA
colorFabb’s ASA filament is ideal for outdoor use because it won’t degrade or fade in the sunlight as quickly as other materials. The LW-ASA filament is the most lightweight ASA filament in the world.
