Chinchilla’s soft 75A durometer and smooth feel allows for endless opportunities to print wearable items. Early on we’ve seen prints of watchbands, flip flops and sneakers, but we know there are many more options for wearable items.

The added flexibility combined with its shock absorption capabilities are ideal for producing safety features in helmets, elbow pads, or knee pads. What safety application can you design?

The texture of Chinchilla generates life-like models of organs with a realistic feel for medical applications. Is there another medical application you can think of for Chinchilla?

There are countless ideas for prints to be developed and we’d like to highlight the highest quality, most creative, and innovative designs!

Submit a picture and/or video of your creation using our new Chinchilla 3D filament with some documentation of your process and final creation.

Contest begins May 1st and the deadline for submissions is July 31st. The winners will be announced on August 16th and notified by e-mail.

We will choose four prize winners. Winners can choose between 1.75mm or 3mm filament profiles.
